Know before you go: a guide to navigating the #WEOFest2017:

There are two ways to get to Pacific Pipe: drive or take BART.

The main entrance to the grounds is near 1908 Poplar St.

From the Bay Bridge:

Head to 880 South toward San Jose. Take the first exit onto Grand Avenue. Keep going until you pass Mandela and Pacific Pipe. Turn right onto Poplar. Park and look for the flags.

From Berkeley:

Head to 880 South toward San Jose. Right after the maze, take the Grand Avenue exit. Turn left onto Grand Avenue, and keep going until you pass Mandela and Pacific Pipe. Turn right onto Poplar. Park and look for the flags.

Parking on Poplar will be patrolled. If you park on Mandela, you can walk up 20th to get to the entrance. No onsite parking is available.

Please note: 20th is not a through street. While you will be able to walk up 20th from Mandela, you can not get to Poplar street from there, either by foot or vehicle. You may not park on 20th.

No matter where you park, like anywhere in the Bay Area, please do not leave valuables in your car.

A free shuttle from the West Oakland BART station will run every 15 minutes beginning 2 hours before curtain. No reservations necessary.

After you depart your BART train, go out the exit marked "7th street exit" on an overhead sign, then look left toward the white loading zone, just next to the blue handicap drop off area. There is a West Edge Flag, a volunteer, and some chairs in the pickup area. The shuttle is white with blue stripes.

The shuttle has 20 seats and a wheelchair lift. The bench seats can be folded up to make room for more wheelchair riders.

The easiest address to use for Lyft/Uber is 1908 Poplar, which will land you near the pedestrian entrance at 20th and Poplar.

Limited on site parking is available for patrons with disabilities. We highly suggest taking the shuttle, which has a wheelchair lift. It will drop all patrons off at the warehouse's entrance.

The shuttle pick up area at the West Oakland BART station will include two chairs where patrons with disabilities may rest while they wait for the next shuttle. If you cannot take the shuttle and request accessible parking on site, please email

Grounds (and the theater space) open 2 hours before curtain. Beginning 45 minutes before curtain, you can join General Director Mark Streshinsky inside the warehouse for a pre-show talk/lecture.

We offer free beer and wine in the pavilion area. We gladly accept donations that go to support our internship program. You may bring outside drinks into the theater space.

Finally, please dress in layers for evening shows. It gets cool at night in the warehouse.
