All Dressed Up... and Somewhere to Go
June 21st • 7 PM • The Hamilton

Our first chance to bring you one of our popular West Edge Salons is our last chance to raise some much-needed funds before we begin our festival.

Join us in your finest at one of our favorite Salon locations for food, wine, specialty cocktails and to hear two of our favorite singers up close and personal.

Baritone, Efraín Solis is well known in the Bay Area. A former Adler fellow at San Francisco Opera, Efraín is now a resident artist at Opera San Jose who thrilled audiences as our smoldering Golaud in 2018’s Pelléas and Mélisande.

The historic Hamilton hotel was once the Art Deco home to Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo as well as many other celebrities. Now apartments, the building’s ballroom opens out to a beautiful courtyard where we will have fresh air and heat lamps. Parking is easy at several neighborhood garages.

Come dressed up! Enjoy, and support us as we return to live opera!

631 O’Farrell St., San Francisco June 21st 7:00-9:00

$250 per person supports our festival. In these uncertain times when planning has been so challenging, your support is greatly appreciated.

Contralto, Sara Couden comes to us from the Lindemann young artists program at the Metropolitan Opera. She brought down the house as our Penelope in 2014’s Ulysses.

More Dates Coming Soon

West Edge Salons combine the artistry of world class musicians with the informal and engaging environments that keep our audiences coming back year after year.

Settle in with a glass of wine and an hors d'oeuvre, talk about your favorite performances, what you’d like to hear more of, (and perhaps what you’d like to hear less of).

Meet other opera goers, West Edge’s friendly staff, and the artists that bring your favorite work to life. As we begin to gather again this summer, we will offer three outdoor salons in the afternoon:
